| Domain Forwarding allows you to point your newly registered domain name to any existing web page or site. All you have to do is indicate which URL (web address) you wish to forward your newly registered domain name to and we'll take care of the rest. Good Luck Domain does not charge for this service. The domain name management functions accessible through Nameworks.bz will allow to change the location that your domain name is forwarded to at any time. Click here for domain forwarding.
A further benefit of Domain Forwarding is to point multiple domain names to one web address. This helps drive traffic to your website and you would only need to maintain a single website for all your visitors. Click here for domain forwarding.
How does domain forwarding work?
Let's assume that you currently have the web address www.myexistingdomain.com. You can purchase the domain names my-good-luck-domain.com and my-good-fortune-domain.com and forward both of them to your existing website www.myexistingdomain.com. When www.my-good-luck-domain.com or www.my-good-fortune-domain.com is typed into the address bar of the browser the user will arrive (be forwarded to) at your current website. Post-Forwarding Display
The Domain Forwarding feature allows you to control how your address is displayed in the address bar (URL bar) of the browser by the end user. You may choose to retain your new domain as the display; which means that www.my-good-luck-domain.com (the new domain) will be displayed when the user arrives at the forwarded site or release it which means the original URL, www.myexistingdomain.com will be displayed in the address bar of the browser.
Note: To activate Domain Forwarding, you must make sure your nameservers for the domain are pointing to NS1.NAMESBEYOND.COM (72.3.165.120) AND NS2.NAMESBEYOND.COM (72.3.165.121). |
